Hi, I'm Amy & that's Tinkerbell
Hi, I’m Amy, a Senior Graphic Designer, creative strategist, and the buttercream-obsessed founder of Cookie Colab. I’ve spent the last 15 years helping brands look sharp, communicate clearly, and stand out with thoughtful, personality-driven design. I believe good design should feel effortless, intentional, and a little bit magical.
I’ve worked across industries, including insurance, SaaS, commercial services, retail, and small business. I translate big ideas into visuals that people actually connect with. Whether I’m building a brand system from scratch or transforming messy information into a clean and compelling presentation, I’m in my happy place when I organize chaos into something beautiful.
A Designer Who Thinks Like a Strategist
I love color harmony, strong visual hierarchy, and that satisfying moment when a layout finally clicks.
But I’m just as comfortable in the strategic space: asking the right questions, simplifying the message, and making sure every design choice has a purpose.

I led branding and visual identity work for 11 companies under the FDI Group umbrella. I juggled priorities, created consistency, and kept projects on track without losing the creative spark. I’m a mentor, a collaborator, and someone who brings positive, calm energy to high-pressure moments.
Founder of Cookie Colab
Then there’s my other world: Cookie Colab.
It started as a small creative outlet and grew into Ann Arbor’s go-to spot for custom-decorated buttercream cookies. From corporate logo cookies to holiday DIY kits to sold-out workshops, Cookie Colab has become its own little community built on joy, flavor, and an eye for detail.

Running a brand from scratch taught me more than any textbook ever could. I learned how to create an experience, build loyalty, design every touchpoint with intention, and balance creativity with business strategy. I also learned how to mix a lot of frosting without losing my mind.
What I Bring to the Table
- A strong design voice and a clean, modern aesthetic
- Brand thinking that goes beyond the visuals
- Presentation design that looks great and communicates clearly
- The ability to translate messy ideas into polished, strategic visuals
- Project leadership with empathy, collaboration, and a sense of humor
- A maker’s mindset that is detail-oriented, hands-on, and genuinely invested in experience
What Drives Me
At my core, I love creating things that make people feel seen, understood, or delighted. Whether it’s a brand, a graphic, a workshop, or a perfectly piped buttercream cookie, I want it to matter.
Design is my career. Cookie Colab is my creative pride.
Together, they shaped a designer who leads with heart, crafts with intention, and believes the details always matter.
